Travelling to Anfield on Matchday

If you do not have an allocated car parking space for this game, please use public transport when travelling to Anfield. For more information on public transportation and parking click here.

Anfield Stadium is located in a residential area with a residents parking scheme in operation. Please DO NOT park on residential streets as parking enforcement will be in operation. Any illegally parked cars will incur a fine.


Safety and Security

Fans are advised to arrive early at the stadium to allow enough time for necessary security checks.


Updated Stadium Bag Policy

For safety and security purposes, ONLY the following bags are permitted entry into the stadium:

  • Small handheld bag which does not exceed A5 size (148.5 x 210 mm / 5.8 x 8.3 inches). 
  • LFC Superstore clear carrier bag containing Superstore purchases only.

Larger bags will only be permitted at the discretion of LFC if they contain medication and / or medical equipment which cannot fit inside an A5 size bag.

Any supporter who needs to bring an oversized bag for medical reasons are advised to inform the club via disability@liverpoolfc.com. An email approving the request will be returned to the supporter who maybe asked to present it at the stadium.

There will be a bag drop facility for anything which is not permitted into the stadium located 5 minutes from the Kop at Museum & Tours, entrance on Paisley Square. 
This facility will be managed by the LFC Foundation and will cost from £5. All monies raised will be donated to the Foundation, and in line with Anfield payment is card only. The facility opens 3 hours before KO and closes 1 hour after final whistle. LFC accepts no responsibility for loss or damage, items left at owners’ risk and all bags will be subject to security search.

If you see anything suspicious whilst in and around Anfield, please report it to your nearest steward or Police Officer.

Anfield is a no smoking or vaping stadium, and both are strictly prohibited.

 

Hospitality Code of Conduct

We would like to remind guests that all hospitality areas are for home supporters only. Any supporters seen to be supporting the away team will be ejected from the stadium immediately. Any attempt to gain access to the stadium wearing or carrying apparel (including hats and/or scarves) that demonstrate support for the away club, will result in admission being refused or them being ejected from the stadium. In such circumstances no refund or alternative seat will be offered, nor any form of compensation or refund for missing part or all of the Matchday Break Package.

Supporters are expected to conduct themselves in a courteous and respectful manner towards the Club’s employees and other guests. Please drink responsibly. LFC reserves the right to always refuse excessive requests for alcohol.

Please be advised that anyone attending hospitality at Anfield, under the age of 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

Match Tickets

Anfield uses NFC (near field communication) technology for stadium entry and all tickets are digital on a smartphone, in the form of an NFC pass. If you have not already downloaded your hospitality pass onto your mobile smartphone, please do so before arriving at the stadium

If you are transferring your ticket, you must forward this email on to the supporter attending the game. Please note, if you wish to distribute or recall a ticket, this function will only be available up to 3.5 hours prior to kick off, after which time this option will not be available.

Anfield is a cashless stadium – contactless and/or chip and pin payments are required in all areas.


Tackling Antisocial and Criminal Behaviour

LFC supports strong measures across football to tackle antisocial and criminal behaviours within football grounds – including entering the pitch without permission and carrying or using smoke bombs or pyros. These are illegal, dangerous and have serious consequences. They have no place in our game. Anyone involved in these activities will be banned by the club and reported to the police. Love Football.
